As community change makers, we believe that change starts with what we visualize. If we visualize change, and truly believe it is possible, together we can take the steps to make this change happen for youth. Based in Indianhead, Maryland, but imagining greatness for all youth everywhere, Imaginate, Inc. is on a mission to imagining greatness through collaboration and service.
We do this by engaging in grass-roots efforts and going into the community to engage our neighbors, civic and business partners to help us accomplish our simple mission of making life better for youth.
We believe that a young person’s imagination for what they aspire to become is possible with guidance and belief in what they imagine for themselves.

Cultivating Leadership in our Community
Imaginate., Inc. believes that leadership goes beyond a position. We empower youth to cultivate leadership in their community to impact others and make change. This allows them to then create more youth leaders. When youth impact their community, with the guidance of trusted adults, the intrinsic rewards are amazing. Our youth leaders serve as role-models. They lead toy and food drives, read books to youth in the park, and host various local events to uplift and inspire youth to be the change they want to see in the world.
Imaginate, Inc. believes that we are better and stronger together. In any community, opportunities to collaborate are possible. Everyone can win together, and as a result, more youth are impacted for the better. Through our partnerships with two non-profit organizations, the youth of Indian Head, Maryland enjoy open-mic events at a local restaurant. We continue to build connections with individuals and organizations to grow our impact. We believe in listening to our youth, in order to provide them with tools they need to nurture their joy.
Creating safe and joyful spaces for youth in our Community
Every child deserves a safe space in their community. Imaginate, Inc. partners with local businesses and takes advantage of local public spaces to create such spaces. R.O.O.T.S. (Reaching Out Openly Through Service) is a proud project of Imaginate, Inc. This project aims to serve the community of Indianhead,, Maryland by reaching out to our community partners to create spaces appealing to youth. Our R.O.O.T.S garden is an example of such a space.
